Amazon has dropped very important news and changed deadlines that could significantly impact a brand’s Amazon FBA business. There has been updates to Amazon FBA refund policies, effective October 23rd, which has drastically reduced the time available for sellers to reclaim lost revenue. 

Sellers now have until October 23rd to reclaim eligible refunds from the previous 18 months before the claims period reduces to only 2 months!

  • Lost, Damaged Units: 18 Months

After 

  • FBA Inbound Shipments: 6 Months EU/UK / 9 Months USA 

  • Lost, Damaged Units: 2 Months (Improvements Expected) 

  • FBA Customer Refunds: 4 Months (No Improvements Expected) 

  • FBA Removal Orders: 2.5 Months (No Improvements Expected) 

  • Weights & Dimensions Fees: 3 Months
